In preparation for the fiscal year 2024, the Office of the Wali of Bangsamoro organized a comprehensive year-end assessment cum target-setting program. The primary objectives of this intensive session were to evaluate the performance of the office’s staff and employees for the fiscal year 2023 and to strategically plan programs and activities for the forthcoming fiscal year 2024.
During his keynote message, Officer-in-Charge Omarkhalid Ampatuan underlined the importance of teamwork within the office. The Executive Assistant III, Sheikh Maceda Interino, in his Islamic lecture further reinforced the significance of self-evaluation among the staff and employees. He differentiated good governance and moral governance, attributing it to the underlying intentions whether for the sake of Allah or humanity. “What I’m going to emphasized is our accountability to our self-first after that we will look at our works, what we have done, and our commitment whether it is for the sake of Allah or for the sake of like us the human being because that only differentiate between good governance and moral governance. Self-evaluation is mashruh (permissible). It is Islamic.” Stressing that self-evaluation of the employees is a crucial component of preparing for the fiscal year 2024, he encouraged the staff and employees of the office to continue improvement and have commitment to practice moral governance.
