The Office of the WΔlΔ« of Bangsamoro recently held an evaluation and assessment of Gender and Development (GAD) programs for Fiscal Year 2024 on December 20-22, at Dusit Thani Hotel, Davao City.
This activity assessed the impact of GAD programs on its employees and wider community and provided a platform to evaluate how effectively the programs were implemented, how resources were allocated, and discussed actionable recommendations for future programs. The discussions also explored the extent to which stakeholdersβ engagement, including civil society organizations and womenβs group, contributed to the success of GAD programs of the office for this year. It highlighted the officeβs dedication to promote a more inclusive, equitable, and gender-responsive office.
Participants were encouraged to share their insights and practical suggestions, which were instrumental in shaping the GAD programs of office for the fiscal year 2025. These contributions will serve as a foundation for enhancing planning and policy development, ensuring that GAD programs will remain effective and sustainable over the long term.
As the Office of the WΔlΔ« looks forward to Fiscal Year 2025, the findings and recommendations from this evaluation will guide efforts to strengthen its role in promoting gender equality and addressing the evolving needs of the Bangsamoro.
