Cotabato City, BARMM – The Ministry of Public Works (MPW-BARMM), in collaboration with the office of Hon. Said Z. Salendab, Member of the Parliament, successfully held the turnover ceremony of a covered court for Jamiat Cotabato yesterday November 20, 2024. The event was graced by the Wālī of Bangsamoro, His Eminence Sheikh Muslim Guiamaden, and other distinguished guests.
Sheikh Muhammad Nadheer Ebil, Secretary General of Hay-ato Ulama El-Muslimina Bil Filibbin, delivered words of wisdom, highlighting the significant changes experienced in the region since the establishment of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) government. He emphasized the reduction in poverty, improved education system, and increased opportunities for Ulama, citing programs like the ISAL teachers initiative and medical and health assistance provided by the government. He stated, “Since the BARMM government came into power, we have felt significant changes, including a significant decrease in poverty in the region. Education has also been given more attention, and there have been more opportunities to support the Ulama, such as the program for ISAL teachers. Also, among the major assistance to the Bangsamoro are the medical and health assistance offered by the government”.
In his turnover message, Hon. MP Sheikh Said Z. Salendab emphasized the Bangsamoro government’s commitment to uplifting the lives of the Bangsamoro people. He highlighted the ongoing struggle for the Bangsamoro and the importance of safeguarding the gains achieved through their armed struggle. He further emphasized that the projects are funded by the government and not from personal funds, stressing the importance of transparency. He urged everyone to make the most of the opportunities and strive for good deeds. He said, “Our holding of this government is to continue and protect the gains of our armed struggle and to provide care for many people, the nation, and our religion”. He added, “If it weren’t for the government systems that we must follow in implementing projects, I wouldn’t want my name to be put up on tarpaulins because it’s not from me, but rather the money of our government for the Bangsamoro people”. He concluded with a reminder, “We need to seize the opportunity while we are still alive to do good because we will be accountable to Allah”.
In his message of support, Sheikh Basir Abdulbayan reminded everyone to acknowledge the sacrifices made by those who paved the way for the progress they enjoy today. He said, “Let us not forget the people who made this possible. We sacrificed many lives that became our bridge to achieve this good in our place.”
The Wālī of Bangsamoro, Sheikh Muslim Guiamaden, in his message of support, emphasized the importance of leaving a legacy of good deeds, particularly for those blessed with wealth and resources. He encouraged the construction of projects that benefit the community. He stated, “The best thing is to strive to do good while we are still alive in this world. It is better for those who have been blessed by Allah with wealth and ability to strive to leave good deeds in this world, such as building projects that will benefit many”.
Atty. Nes Hashim Biruar Lidasan, a legal officer from the office of the City Mayor, stated that the turnover ceremony symbolizes unity and collective efforts to improve the well-being of the Bangsamoro people. He said, “This is not just a celebration for the turnover, but also a symbol of unity to improve the welfare of the Bangsamoro people”.
Sheikh Saad H. Sindatok, President of Jamiat Cotabato, in his message of acceptance, expressed his gratitude to the office of Hon. MP Sheikh Said Z. Salendab for the project, highlighting its significant impact on students and the Bangsamoro community. He expressed appreciation for the timely completion of the project, which has already been utilized for various school activities and government programs. He said, “We are grateful to the office of MP Sheikh Said Z. Salendab for this wonderful project. We felt the barakah in this project because even before it was turned over, we have already benefited from it in many activities and programs of the school and other government agencies”.

مدينة كوتاباتو، بانجسامورو – أقامت وزارة الأشغال العامة (MPW-BARMM)، بالتعاون مع مكتب السيد سعيد سالنداب، عضو البرلمان، حفل تسليم ملعب مسقوف لجامعة كوتاباتو يوم أمس، 20 نوفمبر 2024. حضر الحفل والي بانجسامورو، فضيلة الشيخ مسلم جامادين، وضيوف كبار آخرون.
ألقى الشيخ محمد ندير إبل، الأمين العام لهيئة علماء المسلمين بالفلبين، كلمات توجيهية، سلط فيها الضوء على التطورات المهمة التي شهدتها المنطقة منذ إنشاء حكومة بانجسامورو ذاتية الحكم في منداناو المسلمة (BARMM) . وشدد على انخفاض الفقر وتحسين نظام التعليم وزيادة فرص العمل للعلماء، مستشهدًا ببرامج مثل برنامج ISAL والمساعدة الطبية والصحية التي تقدمها الحكومة. قال: “منذ تولي حكومة BARMM السلطة، شعرنا بتغييرات كبيرة، بما في ذلك انخفاض كبير في الفقر في المنطقة. كما تم إيلاء المزيد من الاهتمام للتعليم، وكانت هناك المزيد من الفرص لدعم العلماء، مثل برنامج معلمين ISAL. أيضًا، من بين المساعدات الرئيسية لبانجسامورو هي المساعدة الطبية والصحية التي تقدمها الحكومة”.
في رسالة السيد سعيد سالنداب، عضو البرلمان، خلال حفل التسليم، أكد على التزام حكومة بانجسامورو بتحسين حياة شعب بانجسامورو. وسلط الضوء على النضال المستمر من أجل بانجسامورو وأهمية حماية المكاسب التي تحققت من خلال النضال المسلح. وشدد أيضًا على أن المشاريع ممولة من قبل الحكومة وليس من الأموال الشخصية، مؤكدًا على أهمية الشفافية. وحث الجميع على الاستفادة القصوى من الفرص والسعي إلى الأعمال الصالحة قائلا: “هدفنا من تولي هذه الحكومة هو مواصلة وحماية ثمار نضالنا المسلح وتقديم الرعاية للعديد من الناس، ولوطننا، ولديننا”. وأضاف: “لولا أنظمة الحكومة التي يجب أن نتبعها في تنفيذ المشاريع، لما أردت أن يوضع اسمي على اللافتات لأنها ليست مني، بل من أموال حكومتنا لشعب بانجسامورو”. واختتم برسالة تذكير: “نحتاج إلى اغتنام الفرصة ما دمنا على قيد الحياة لفعل الخير لأننا سنكون مسؤولين أمام الله”.
ذكر الشيخ بشير عبدالبايان في رخطابه الحضور بالاعتراف بالتضحيات التي قدمها أولئك الذين مهدوا الطريق للتقدم الذي نتمتع به اليوم، وقال: “دعونا لا ننسى الأشخاص الذين جعلوا هذا ممكنًا. لقد ضحينا بالعديد من الأرواح التي أصبحت جسرًا لنا لتحقيق هذا الخير في بلادنا”.
ووالي بانجسامورو، الشيخ مسلم جامادين، في خطابه، أكد على أهمية ترك إرث من الأعمال الصالحة، خاصة لأولئك الذين أعطاهم الله الثروة والموارد. وشجع على بناء مشاريع تفيد المجتمع. قال: “أفضل شيء هو السعي لفعل الخير ما دمنا على قيد الحياة. ومن الأفضل لأولئك الذين أعطاهم الله الثروة والقدرة أن يسعوا لترك أعمال صالحة في هذه الحياة، مثل بناء مشاريع ستفيد الكثير”.
وأكد المحامي نس هاشم بيروار ليداسان، المسؤول القانوني من مكتب عمدة المدينة، أن حفل التسليم يرمز إلى الوحدة والجهود الجماعية لتحسين رفاهية شعب بانجسامورو، وقال: “هذا ليس مجرد احتفال بالتسليم، بل هو أيضًا رمز للوحدة لتحسين رفاهية شعب بانجسامورو”.
وأعرب الشيخ سعد هاشم سنداتوك، رئيس جامعة كوتاباتو، في رسالة قبوله عن امتنانه لمكتب السيد سعيد سالنداب للمشروع، مشددًا على فائدته الكبيرة على الطلاب ومجتمع بانجسامورو. وأعرب عن تقديره لإنجاز المشروع في الوقت المناسب، والذي تم استخدامه بالفعل في العديد من الأنشطة المدرسية والبرامج الحكومية، وقال: “نحن ممتنون لمكتب السيد سعيد سالنداب، عضو البرلمان، لهذا المشروع الرائع. لقد شعرنا ببركة هذا المشروع لأننا استفدنا منه بالفعل في العديد من الأنشطة والبرامج المدرسية والمكاتب الحكومية الأخرى، حتى قبل تسليمه”.
